Gripped is solely a platform. We are not a party to any class, we do not employ teachers, we do not act as an educational institution, and we assume no financial responsibility for transactions beyond facilitating payment processing through Stripe. All class content, instruction, and interactions are solely between the teacher and the student.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") describe our commitments to you, and your rights and responsibilities when using our services. Please read them carefully and reach out to us if you have any questions. If you don't agree to these Terms, don't use our services.
"You" means any individual or entity using our Services.
"Gripped," "we," "us," or "our" refers to BizTech Solutions LLC, a limited liability company operating the Gripped marketplace platform.
"Teacher" means any user who creates and offers classes through the Gripped platform.
"Student" means any user who enrolls in or subscribes to classes offered by Teachers through the Gripped platform.
Gripped acts solely as a technology platform that facilitates the connection between Teachers and Students. Gripped is not a party to any agreement between a Teacher and a Student, does not employ or supervise any Teacher, does not provide educational services, and is not responsible for the content, quality, or delivery of any class.
When using our Services requires an account, you agree to provide us with complete and accurate information and to keep the information current. You're solely responsible for all activity under your account and for maintaining the security of your account.
Information We Collect. By using our Services, you acknowledge that we collect basic user information necessary to operate the platform, including: your name, email address, phone number, and mailing address.
Class Updates. Gripped sends class-related updates via email, including enrollment confirmations, schedule changes, attendance confirmations, and payment receipts.
You're not allowed to access or use our Services if you're under the age of 13. Gripped blocks registration for individuals under 13 during the account creation process.
As a Teacher on Gripped, you are solely responsible for all class content and instruction, pricing, attendance confirmation, compliance with laws, and communication with students. Gripped does not review, approve, endorse, or assume any responsibility for your class content or teaching methods.
As a Student on Gripped, you agree that you are enrolling in classes offered by independent Teachers (not by Gripped). By enrolling, you authorize payment through Stripe. Gripped processes payments solely as a facilitator.
Gripped is a marketplace platform only. Gripped does not employ, supervise, or control any Teacher; does not provide educational instruction; does not verify teacher credentials; and is not a party to any transaction between a Teacher and a Student.
Gripped's sole involvement is to provide the technology platform, process payments through Stripe, send transactional emails, and provide customer support for platform-related issues.
Gripped charges a platform commission of 13% plus $0.50 of the total transaction amount. For example, if a Student pays $100.00 for a class, the Platform Commission is $13.50 and the amount transferred to the Teacher is $86.50.
All payments are processed through Stripe. When a Student enrolls in a paid class, the payment method is charged, Gripped retains the Platform Commission, and the remaining balance is transferred to the Teacher upon attendance confirmation.
Teachers must connect a valid Stripe account to receive payouts. Payouts are initiated after the Teacher confirms student attendance following class completion.
Students may cancel enrollment before the class start date for a full refund (less platform commission, except where required by law). If a Student cancels after the class start date, the Teacher has the ability to charge the Student and refunds are at the Teacher's discretion.
All refund requests must be submitted through the Gripped platform.
If a Teacher cancels a class, enrolled Students will receive a full refund. Gripped will not retain its Platform Commission on classes cancelled by the Teacher prior to the class start date.
When you share comments, ideas, or feedback with us, you agree that we're free to use them without any restriction or compensation to you.
You represent and warrant that your use of our Services will comply with all applicable laws, will not infringe intellectual property rights, will not overburden our systems, and will not involve illegal activities.

"Gripped," the Gripped logo, and all trademarks used in connection with our Services are trademarks of BizTech Solutions LLC.
Your use of Third-Party Services (including Stripe) is at your own risk. Gripped is not responsible or liable for Third-Party Services.
Our Services are provided "as is." Gripped makes no representations or warranties regarding the quality, safety, or accuracy of any class, the qualifications of any Teacher, or the resolution of disputes between users.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Gripped's liability is limited to the greater of $50 or the fees paid by you in the 12 months prior to the claim. Gripped is not liable for any damages arising from interactions between Teachers and Students.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Gripped (BizTech Solutions LLC) from any claims arising out of your use of our Services, your violation of the Agreement, or any dispute between you and another user.
We may terminate your access to our Services at any time for any reason, including if you violate this Agreement.
The Agreement will be governed by the laws of the State of Texas, U.S.A. Venue for disputes will be in Dallas County, Texas.
We may modify these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified to you.
